Bristol Residents jump on board with video callingResidents at Bristol care home, Amerind Grove, have been keeping in touch with Residents over video calling and it has been a huge success!

From the start of 2020, like so many other care homes across the UK, it has been very hard for Residents and Relatives being unable to se each other properly. The wellbeing team, including Kay, Kelly, Maria and Beth have been organising and making sure everyone can keep in touch via phone and video calling. Residents look forward to talking to their sons, daughters and other family members.

One member of the wellbeing team commented, “Residents and family are going to find it very hard this Christmas, so we are trying to make sure that everyone can still have that family catch they all love!”

Home Manager, Kathy Marshalsea, remarked, “Hopefully in the New Year, things will get better and back to normal so everyone can have the hugs they have all been missing”.
