The 2nd week of March marks National Intergenerational Week and HC-One homes across the country came together and celebrate.
Church View care home in Caerphilly were lucky enough to join three other homes across the UK, Averill House, Darnley Court and Pendleton Court to celebrate National Intergenerational Week.
Fully equipped with their Maracas and Tambourines, Church View Residents met their fellow HC-One friends online along with several students from Manchester University Music Society.
The students were so confident and clearly spoken that it made conversations and communicating with each other really easy. They played some of their instruments and songs that Residents could sing along to.
There were questions back and forth, the Residents and Students really engaged with the day which was all so very well organised by Lawra Baumane, Quality of Life Advisor at HC-One.
Church View Colleague, Kath Shorney said: “It is so nice to see Residents connecting with other homes.”
