Carol Concert with Osmotherley Brass Band at Park House care homeResidents at Park House, residential and residential dementia care home, in Guisborough, had a lovely visit from the local brass band who are a favourite amongst the Residents.

On the 7th of December, the care home had a second visit of the year from Osmotherley Brass Band, and it was extra special as the band came along to play the carol concert.

The Residents enjoyed it very much and knew all the carols, they did not need the words, they sang from the heart.

The band wore Christmas hats, which the Residents appreciated.

When the band played jingle bells, Colleagues gave the Residents some bells and other percussion instruments and they played along, the band master said they were very talented.

After the carol concert refreshments were served for both the band and the Residents.

One Resident, commented, “We are so pleased that the band could come back and do the Christmas concert.”

Julie Woods, Care Home Manager, added, “It was a lovely afternoon and the Residents really enjoyed it.”
