Carol singing at Eden House care homeResidents at HC-One’s Eden House, residential and residential memory care home, in Bishop Auckland, were delighted with some brilliant Christmas carols.

A local organisation called Innovations were kind enough to come to the home and sing Christmas carols to the Residents. Innovations is an adult day care service, for adults with disabilities.

Ten people of all ages and their support workers came to the home and the Residents were really excited to listen the carols.

Residents wrapped up in their coats and went out to the front of the building to see the performance.

The Residents were given a song sheet, they sang along and even the passers-by joined in.

After the performance, everyone swapped gifts to say thank you for the performance.

Residents, commented, “How lovely, Christmas cheer has been spread after the year we have had.”

One Resident, said, “It has made my Christmas seeing people singing and joining in as well.”

Care Home Manager, Emma Wade, “Thank you to Innovations for coming to Eden House, the Residents had a great afternoon.”
