Residents received a wonderful array of gifts this Christmas at HC-One’s Hurst Hall care home in Ashton-under-Lyne, Greater Manchester.
A local charity, Nice to Be Nice, sent a gift to every Resident at the home and even sent gifts to Colleagues as well.
One Resident commented: “I couldn’t believe what I got and it was so lovely of someone to take the time to wrap them all up!”
The gifts were welcomed with open arms and were appreciated by everyone at the home with the belief that the current pandemic is bringing out the kind side in human nature.
Hurst Hall Home Manager, Deborah Finlay, said: “I was overwhelmed by the amount of gifts we received.
“We are counting the days until we can open our doors again.”
