A Colleague is over the moon to receive an award at HC-One’s Beechcroft care home in Palacefields, Runcorn.
Bernie Turner, Assistant Cook at the home, has completed her NVQ Level 2 in Food Production and Cooking.
The qualification is a form of work-based learning that allows Bernie to develop new skills in the kitchen and the opportunity to learn more about the hospitality industry.
Residents simply cannot wait to experience her new culinary expertise – a feeling shared by Colleagues as well.
One of Bernie’s Colleagues, Gemma Bunting, commented: “The award is well deserved – Bernie has definitely applied herself to this qualification.”
