Everyone at Manchester’s
Chorlton Place nursing and residential care home, celebrated a very big birthday on Friday the 29th of October 2021.
Margaret turned 96 and Colleagues Farhat, Valerie, Luwam and Rebecca made the day special for her.
Before they sang ‘Happy Birthday’ all got her up and comfy into her chair and made her a cup of tea before the singsong.
Once the song was over the staff cheered and helped Margaret cut the cake and gave her a big slice which she enjoyed with her cup of tea.
Everyone loved making Margaret’s birthday special for her and seeing her enjoy a big slice of cake and a cup of tea, which she thoroughly enjoyed!
Samantha Clayton, Care Home Manager, remarked, “It was nice seeing Margaret up and being able to celebrate her birthday with her and seeing her enjoy her cake.”
