The preparations for Christmas have been well and truly underway at
the Beeches residential care home, in Greater Manchester, over the last few days.
Colleagues and Residents have been preparing for Christmas and the festive spirit has been all round; decorating the Christmas trees in the lounges, listening to Christmas music, singing some Christmas carols, and starting the chocolate advent calendars.
Colleagues at the home are also making lovely hampers as prizes for the homes’ raffles to raise money.
Everyone reminisced about Christmas traditions and decorating their homes.
Sade Smith, Wellbeing Coordinator, remarked, “It’s lovely to be able to celebrate Christmas at the Beeches this year; seeing the Residents helping with the decorating and getting involved.”
