Christmas crafts at Drummohr care homeResidents at HC-One’s Drummohr, nursing and nursing memory care home, in Walleyford have started their Christmas crafts early this year.

In preparing for Christmas the Residents have been making their own table centre piece decorations. They were made with fake candles, holly and berries all inside a Christmas cracker.

Many of the Residents were involved in both the upstairs and downstairs lounges, with the Activity Coordinator, Gail. All who attended the crafts extremely enjoyed making something with their own hands. They also enjoyed tea and coffee served with biscuits.

Residents like the festive feeling in the home from all the decorations.

One Resident, commented, “I like to have the centre piece in my bedroom. I am very proud of my work.”

Gillian Black, Care Home Manager, added, “We are delighted to see our Residents crafting, and making the home feel festive.”
