As Christmas this year was going to be very different, Colleagues at Avon Court care home, in Wiltshire, wanted to make sure they gave their Residents the best time possible.
“We enjoyed lots of activities on Christmas Day, from karaoke and games, to our very own Resident James Marchant, playing carols on the piano. A lovely day was had by all!” Commented Lyn Neate, wellbeing Colleague.
Sheila Devers, who lives at Avon Court, said, “What a lovely Christmas day!”
Residents were touched to get presents delivered in the homemade sleigh, and all expressed how thankful they were.
Today, Residents made calendars to send home to family members and cards wishing a happy New Year.
Lyn sat with Residents John Williams and Daphne Leonard, who really enjoyed the activity, “We had a wonderful festive period and can’t wait to see what else we can do in 2021!”
