Christmas fun at Forthbank care homeResidents at Forthbank, nursing and nursing dementia care home, in Stirling have had lots of fun getting in the Christmas spirit on the run up to big day.

In the week leading up to Christmas, Residents enjoyed a visit from the children at Raploch Primary School choir. The children sang lots of festive songs and hymns which the Residents were able to join in with.

Later in the week, the Big Noise Orchestra, came along to the care home to perform many Christmas classics. They had many instruments which included violins, cellos and trumpets. The Residents loved the performance, and it really got them all in the Christmas spirit.

To top off a great few days a Christmas party was held at the care home. Colleagues, Residents and Relatives were all invited along to the care home to celebrate and meet Santa.

Yvonne Graham, Care Home Manager, said, “We have had lots of fun in the run up to Christmas. It was great to connect with people in the local community and build relationships.”
