Christmas joy for all at Upwood care homeResidents at Manor House residential, nursing and nursing dementia care home, in Huntingdon, kicked off the festivities on 1st December with a wonderful donation of advent calendars. 

After a social media post from Wellbeing Coordinator Jess was published, Dylan Jones and Jaime Ward from ‘Medi 4’ decided to donate some advent calendars to the home. 

All Residents were surprised and overjoyed with their personal calendar and excited to open the doors to find a chocolate. They said it had brought back memories. 

One of the Residents even commented saying he was very grateful, as the one his wife brought him, he had eaten already!

Christine, who lives at the home, said, “How very kind!”

Fellow Resident Winnie added, “Oh that’s wonderful, how thoughtful”

The Residents were very happy and excited to open the doors for their surprises. 

Margaret said, “I love chocolate, it’s great.” 

While Elvira commented, “I've missed having a calendar I will put it on my wall.”

Bhekimpilo Perelion, Care Home Manager, commented, “Thank you to Medi 4 for their kind and generous donation to all our Residents. We are overjoyed and grateful at the kindness of them for their wonderful donation.”
