Coalville care home enjoy Bonfire night celebrations

Colleagues and Residents at HC One’s The Rowans care home enjoyed their bonfire night celebrations.

From November 1st the wellbeing co-ordinators and Residents have been very busy making their own Guy Fawkes at the Coalville care home! 

On 5th November the home celebrated bonfire night in true style - with fireworks, sparklers and food! 

There were plenty of hot dogs, burgers, jacket potatoes and chilli and home-made soup for the Residents to enjoy – all bonfire night must haves! 

All Residents took part with majority of them watching at the window as it was a very cold night. All Residents absolutely loved it; it was a great night full of love and laughter. 

Kym Hubbard, the home manager, commented “what a wonderful evening it was! After the recent news that our country was going back into lock down we did not let this get in the way of us having a good time – it was lovely to see our Residents enjoy the night.”
