Residents at HC-One’s Tower Bridge care home were so pleased when Colleagues decided to arrange for some companion pets to be brought to the home.
For Residents who had pets in their youth and any Residents who felt as though they would benefit from some furry company, these pets were an amazing addition to the home.
The pets brought back memories for one Resident in particular who used to own a black and white cat, and upon receiving her companion pet, she went on to name the cat Mitsy, after the cat she once owned.
She enjoys regularly petting and cradling the cat like it’s her own, and Colleagues have remarked at how much the pets have benefitted Residents.
One Resident remarked: “Aw the pets are so lovely and cute, I’ve loved having cuddles with my own cat.”
