Residents at HC-One’s Victoria Mews care home in Coventry took advantage of the recent warm weather and went into the garden to spruce it up in time for summer.
With the warmer weather coming, Colleagues and Residents decided to enjoy some time outside improving the garden. Residents got involved with some planting with the support from staff members.
Colleagues purchased lots of colourful flowers for the garden area, for them to grow in the summer and they cannot wait to get it all done, looking lovely and ready for the summer.
Colleagues feel that getting the Residents involved in what goes where is really important. Colleagues know a lot of Residents had lovely gardens back at home and it certainly shows when they get the gardening tools out as they all love to get involved.
