Cuts and Curls at Cambridgeshire care homeThis month at The Elms in Cambridgeshire which offers residential, nursing, nursing dementia and residential dementia care, Residents have welcomed back their hairdresser.

The Residents at the Elms were thrilled to learn that Michelle, their previous hairdresser would be returning to the home. She was welcomed back with open arms (socially distanced open arms) and she had been told how much she had been missed. It has been many months without a hairdresser in the home, and the Residents have really missed having their weekly haircuts, blow dries and shampoos. Everybody visiting the salon enjoys a cup of tea and a good ole natter.

Michelle comes in every Wednesday and spends the day at the care home, she was their regular hairdresser a couple of years ago but had moved onto a new line of work for a while. Michelle went on to say that “I am really happy to be back at The Elms, everybody is so friendly here”. One Resident said “It has been a long time and we are all so happy to have Michelle back making us all look so lovely” with many other of the Residents agreeing. They went onto say how they enjoy getting pampered and are looking forward to next Wednesday.

Belinda, the Home Manager said, “its lovely to see everybody welcoming back Michelle, they have all very much missed their weekly pampering sessions”.
