This month at
Woodcross in Bloxwich which provides specialised nursing care, Residents have enjoyed their first trip out to their local pub in a very long time.
The Landlady of their local pub, The Hatherton Arms, opened their backroom specifically for the Residents of Woodcross to enjoy a pint safely. There was also a nice range of free snacks out for them to enjoy as well, which went down very well with all the Residents who attended with one saying, “this is the first time we have been able to get out and about for such a long time, it was well worth the wait”.
The Residents all agreed on how lovely it was to be able to get out and about again, especially when it’s a day out to the local pub!
Dawn, the Home Manager commented, “It was so nice to see how much the Residents enjoyed themselves, I think they had been waiting for awhile to get over there and didn’t seem disappointed”.
