Resident John, of Bankwood care home, in Derbyshire, celebrated his 59th Birthday today.
John was so happy and overwhelmed with all his cards and presents which were received. John, for the first time, spoke to his wife Angie on a video call and said how technology is fab!
One of John's hobbies is photography, so Chef Lisa made his cake and took a picture of John's own camera which was iced on, see picture.
John had a lovely day and really enjoyed his cake. He said, “Next year is the big 60!”
Fellow Residents all wished John a happy birthday and Izeta Hamza, Home Manager, commented, “John loved the cake. Next year we will have a really big Celebration for Johns 60th!”
