Residents at HC-One’s
Bankwood care home in Duffield took part in Easter weekend celebrations by creating cards, bonnets, personalised snacks and more.
Bankwood celebrated the Easter period from the 2nd to the 5th April. During this time Residents took part in many different activities.
First, Residents created some lovely personalised Easter cards to send home to their loved ones, with a handwritten message and a photo. To make their photos more Easter themed, Residents created their own Easter bonnets, which they decorated with daffodils, chicks, eggs and more. They looked amazing.
During the weekend, the home received a lovely Easter egg donation from Morrisons at Belper. Residents had hot cross buns on Friday morning, a snack home made by the Head Chef Lisa. The Residents enjoyed their Easter Eggs on Friday afternoon and on Monday Colleagues raised £105.00 for the comfort fund during the Easter Raffle.
Lying in the beautiful Amber Valley in Derbyshire, Bankwood is a friendly, welcoming 40 bed care home, which offers residential and nursing care.
