Residents at HC-One’s Riverside View care home in Dundee have made some lovely, handmade Christmas cards to sent back home to their friends and family this Christmas.
Due to the coronavirus lockdown this year, restrictions are in place for visitors, so Residents will be unable to see their loved ones during the festive period this year. Making some beautiful Christmas cards to send back to their loved ones will put a smile on Residents faces and will go a really long way.
“I really enjoyed that we are getting to send something personal and homemade to my daughter,” said one Riverside Resident.
Getting to make and decorate something from scratch really made Residents happy and they can’t wait to make some Christmas posters and to put up the Christmas decorations on the 15th of December.
Lynsey Robbie, Home Manager at Riverside View said: “Residents really enjoyed getting into the festive spirit with making the card making and can’t wait to hear what their family members think.”
