The Care Team at HC-One’s Balcarres in Broughty Ferry, Dundee, a 35-bed residential and residential dementia care home, were crowned the winners of The Care Team Award Category at the Scottish Region of the Great British Care Awards 2022.
The award ceremony took place at the Grand Hotel Gosforth Park, in Newcastle on Thursday 10th November 2022. The awards recognise excellence across the sector and pay tribute to people who have demonstrated outstanding talents in their field of work.
The care team were recognised for delivering the kindest possible care and working together to enhance the quality of life of the Residents living at Balcarres. The team have worked tirelessly throughout the pandemic to deliver enhanced infection control measures to keep Residents safe.
Lynn McLean, Home Manager at Balcarres Care Home, commented:

The Balcarres Care Team and the other regional finalists progress to the National Finals of the Great British Care Awards 2023 which will take place on 17th March 2023, at the ICC in Birmingham.
