Residents at HC-One’s Hawthorn Court care home in Hebburn taking part in some themed arts and crafts sessions in the build up to Easter Sunday.
Margaret, Mary, Ruth, Peggy and Joan came together to make some Easter creations, the ladies chatted and shared stories as they worked on their eggs and bonnets.
A great time was had by all, the ladies were all pleased with their hats and enjoyed trying them on to show the team at Hawthorn Court. One Resident commented: “I didn’t think I’d be able to do it, but I was pleased that I joined in, it was great fun.”
Hawthorn Court Home Manager, Amanda Sleightholme said: “All of the ladies made beautiful Easter eggs and bonnets, it was great to see them enjoying their arts and crafts together.”
