Easter celebrations were happening all week at
Clarendon Hall care home, in Grimsby, which offers residential and nursing care, which involved arts and crafts and cookery.
On Good Friday there was a service held for Residents at the home, which was well attended and thoroughly enjoyed to kick-start the seasonal festivities. Then this was followed by the home’s Easter bonnet parade and an exciting the raffle, as well as a beautifully decorated Easter cake for Residents to enjoy.
Christina, who is a Resident at the home, said she enjoyed the Easter service and that the cake was good.
Throughout the weekend, Residents could attend the arts and crafts workshop where they could decorate their own Easter bonnets and get fully involved in the Easter celebrations.
Christina added, “I never thought I would have a go at the Easter bonnet!”
Nicola Walker, Home Manager, commented, “There was such a lovely atmosphere with everyone being involved for Easter. What a wonderful weekend!”
