Easter donation delights at Newcastle care homeResidents at HC-One’s Sutherland Court care home in Newcastle-upon-Tyne were delighted to receive a generous Easter donation of 70 knitted chicks each with a Cadburys Cream Egg inside.

A local lady named Bea kindly handmade knitted Easter chicks with a special treat inside, she donated 70 for the Residents at Sutherland Court. Each Resident received their chick on Easter Sunday and they brought smiles to the faces of all.

Sutherland Court Resident Marion Procter commented: “These little chicks are so cute you don’t want to eat the egg inside them.”

Sutherland Court Home Manager, Karen Stewart said: “I would like to thank Bea on behalf of everyone at Sutherland Court, your thoughtful donation was greatly appreciated.”
