Elfing around at Redesdale CourtResidents at Redesdale Court, residential and residential memory care home, in North Shields, have been raising fund for charity.

Residents and staff at Redesdale Court have been supporting the Alzheimer’s Association, they have raised funds for the charity by dressing up as elves for a whole day.

In the morning, the naughty elf made an appearance, there was a ‘Elf Day’ quiz with Christmas themed questions, including singing ‘the twelve days of Christmas’.

The day was finished off with a festive bake sale in the reception area, delicious cakes and treats were donated to the home by staff members and
Residents families. There were cakes, mince pies, candy canes and chocolate treats to be purchased and there was a ‘name the elf’ domino card.

All the funds raised from the day will be helping a great cause and supporting people with Alzheimer’s and dementia.

Care Home Manager, Daniel Ridley, commented, “It is lovely to see staff and Residents coming together to raise money for such an amazing charity.”
