Enjoyable coronation parties held at The Harefield care homeTo celebrate the coronation of King Charles III The Harefield care home, in Harefield, Uxbridge, had two separate events for each unit of the home - meaning all the Residents were able to join in with the festivities.

The first event saw Tickled Pink Productions perform a special show on the care home’s residential unit, where actors James Whyte and Charlie Frampton gave a great rendition of a range of favourite music-hall classics. Their hour-long show involved lots of costume changes and plenty of audience participation, that had all the Residents singing and dancing along.

The second event, on The Harefield’s dementia unit, saw singer Eleanor perform a special coronation show, with an array of 1950's and 1960's classic hits as well as more patriotic singalong anthems. Eleanor had an amazing charisma and energy that again had everybody in the audience dancing and singing along.

Resident John Blackman said he found Eleanor's performance to be “very touching”, while another Resident described her as “a great performer”. Residents Pat and Daphne said they “loved” Tickled Pink's very interactive show.

Home Manager Rebekah Axford said: “Two fantastic parties, what a wonderful way to mark the coronation of King Charles and Queen Camilla. Everyone had a fantastic time.”
