Feeding the birds at Hyde nursing home

One of the Residents at Hyde nursing home, in Greater Manchester loves to feed the birds outside of her window. 

As this is what she used to like to do at home, the Resident (pictured) has continued with her hobby. 

Wellbeing Coordinator, Adam Perkins, remarked, “It’s great to see Residents enjoying themselves so much, especially with one of their favourite pastimes.”

“We love to see her do this as it makes us happy to see our residents happy enjoying something that they have done for their whole lifetime, The Resident also enjoyed singing hymns whilst doing this and said, ‘Waste not, want not.’”
