Fir Trees Residents take a trip to the Manchester Sea Life CentreOn Wednesday 16th November, Colleagues at Fir Trees residential and residential dementia care home, Karolina Kubach, Liz Wilde and Lauren Farmery, took three of their lovely ladies to Sea Life Centre, Manchester.

Joan Dennehey, Maria Sozos and Amelia Maloney, who all live at the welcoming 44-bed care home, had a fantastic time and said they had never been before, so it was very nice to see them enjoying looking at all different types of fish, sharks and turtles. The group even had a chance to touch a starfish and Maria bought a little seahorse figure from the gift shop.

After the Sea Life Centre, all the ladies had a walk around the Trafford centre, then went for dinner and enjoyed having some chicken and fries with a cup of tea.

Maria, remarked, “I’ve had a beautiful time thank you, thank you and thank you again for taking me out.”

Millie added, “I’ve had a lovely time, I’ve never seen turtles before. It’s nice to be out.”

Joan said, “I really enjoyed myself today. It’s nice to do something different.”

Karolina Kubach, Wellbeing Coordinator, commented, “It has been a lovely day. It’s good to see Residents smiling and enjoying themselves.”
