Flourish dancing at Avon CourtFlourish dancing has proven to be a new and popular activity at Avon Court care home in Chippenham, Wiltshire, with Residents really enjoying taking part in the recent sessions.

Lauren, from Flourish Dance, came to visit and deliver an activity which is a specialised seated dance group. Using music and dance the activity gets Residents moving and exercising, and it has gone down a storm with Residents who are very happy to join in. Daphne Leonard, Gordon Bridge, John Taylor, Bob West, Ken Price and Rob Trigger, all joined in with the activity.

Ron, who lives at the 56-bed residential, nursing and nursing dementia care home, remarked, “It was good fun!”

Lyn Neate and Leila Garraway, both Wellbeing Coordinators, commented that it was lovely to see Residents participating.
