Flower fun at Oaklands care homeResidents at HC-One’s Oaklands care home enjoyed taking part in decorating the homes beautifully when they tried their hand at flower arranging.

Residents Doreen, Margaret and Peggy, decided to decorate the dining tables in the home by arranging some beautifully fresh flowers to be placed on to them, working together as they discussed which flowers they would use, and which way to arrange them.

They chose which coloured flowers they preferred, and began arranging them carefully to create beautiful designs.

The three Residents enjoy nothing more than flower arranging now and the activity puts a smile on everyones’ faces, as they love to look at the flowers whilst they relax in the home.

Stephanie Massey, Home Manager, commented: “The ladies have thoroughly enjoyed flower arranging this afternoon. It has been lovely to see them take the lead on ths activity.”
