Residents and Colleagues at HC-One’s The Harefield care home have been getting into the spirit of football in preparation of the Euro 2020 final this week.
For the first major final in over 50 years, everyone went football crazy – waving flags, cheering for England and decorating the home with flags and hand painted signs. Residents were excited to cheer on the three lions and hoped to watch England lift the trophy.
Even those who weren’t football fans, got into the spirit of the game, waving flags around the home and helping to create their wonderful signs.
The Harefield Home Manager remarked: “We’ve had great fun with getting involved in the Euro celebrations and the Residents have enjoyed watching the football matches!”
