HC-One’s Fosse Way View care home in Bingham, Nottingham, has been celebrating its second birthday with a party for Residents, Relatives and Colleagues.
The luxury care home, which has 70 beds and delivers personalised care packages for elderly people who would benefit from supportive residential care, first opened its doors in June 2021. Its state-of-the-art facilities include a cinema, hair salon and bar.
To commemorate the occasion, Residents enjoyed glasses of Prosecco, and the Fosse Way View kitchen team baked a special birthday cake. Residents and Colleagues shared stories about their time at the care home, talking about memories and events from the previous two years.
One Resident, who had been at the care home since its first day, commented:
“I can remember this day two years ago; it was bright sunshine in the garden. The two years really has flown by, and I've been here every step of the way!"
Home Manager Liz Wood said:
“We would like to say a big thank you to all of our Residents, their families, friends and our Colleagues for supporting us here at Fosse Way View. We have had a wonderful two years and are looking forward to many more".
