Fosse Way View Residents enjoy charity fundraising brunchHC-One’s Fosse Way View care home enjoys a partnership with the Rosie May Foundation, and the volunteers visit the care home twice a month to meet with Residents, hold regular coffee mornings and play games.

To raise money for this wonderful charity, Fosse Way View held a fundraising brunch for Residents, their Relatives, and friends. The brunch started at 10am; Carol, the head chef, put a set brunch menu together including a selection of fruit and yoghurts, fresh pastries, and bacon or sausage rolls, all served with a glass of Bucks Fizz or tea or coffee.

The event was held in the care home’s Snowdrop Dining Room and just over £100 was raised for the Rosie May Foundation. It was felt to be a huge success, with one Relative saying: “Brunch has been great, I will be here next week at the same time!" A Resident commented: “We have had fun and raised money for a great cause".

The Rosie May Foundation also have a book that has recently been published - Rosie the Little Pink Tuk Tuk - which Fosse Way View are selling for £6, and all that is raised from the sale of these will also go to the charity.

Clare Howarth, Resident Liaison Manager, said: “The Rose May Foundation is such a great charity and it is wonderful that we are able to support them, it’s great to give something back to them".
