Fun in the sun at Rosebridge CourtA fun packed day was had by Rosebridge Court, in Denton, as Residents enjoyed a ‘fun in the sun’ activity day.

Residents came outside to participate in a day of outside activities, including playing the parachute game, followed by target games, rounders, hula hooping, and a competitive game of skittles.

One of the Residents said, “I would say the parachute game, it got rather competitive, with lots of laughter and some physical exercise.”

All residents were included and encouraged to participate, and those involved thoroughly enjoyed the day, which was rounded off by a homemade ice-cream cart for everyone, with a selection of ices to choose from.

Colleagues at the 46-bed nursing dementia care home, even had a signature ice-cream tune playing in the background as they made their way around the Residents.

Sarah Cunliffe, Home Administrator, said, “It was lovely to see Residents smiling and laughing and joining in, but mainly having fun in the sunshine, in our lovely garden area.”
