Residents at
Greenways Court, residential and residential memory care home, in Consett have enjoyed some Christmas baking.
It was decided that Residents would like to have a baking day. They enjoyed making freshly baked cookies.
Everyone enjoyed a cookie and a cup of tea. There were so many cookies made the tea trolley was served that afternoon.
Resident, Maureen, said, “I love to bake.”
Another Resident, said, “They taste so much better when they are warm.”
Care Home Manager, Kinga Kowaliczek, added, “The Residents love to bake, and they really love sharing out what they have made to all the other Residents.”
