Greenways Court Residents take a trip out in the sunshineAs the weather has been so nice recently, it was the perfect excuse for Residents at Greenways Court to take a trip down to the seaside for the afternoon to enjoy some sea air.

Residents from the 51 bedded, residential, and residential dementia care home, love to take a trip out in the minibus.

Nora, Josie, Mildred, and Theresa we keen to get out and about especially as the weather has been fantastic over the past couple of weeks.

The ladies thought it would be a great idea to take a trip down to the coast. Seaham harbour was their preferred choice.
It was such a great day for a walk along the harbour, and the ladies posed for a photo opportunity. There were lots to look at, including all the fantastic boats parked up.

A trip to the coast always requires a fish and chip lunch. The ladies sat down to enjoy their food overlooking the coast. They were watching all the people playing in the sand, walking their dogs, and enjoying the sun!

Theresa asked if they could go again the following week as she had such a great day. She commented, “The chips were lovely, I hope we can come back soon.”

It was an amazing trip out with even better company. There were lots of giggles in the sun.

Kinga Kowaliczek, Care Home Manager, remarked, “The ladies had such a great day out, they are eager to go back soon!”
