Halloween and birthday celebrations for Sheffield care home ResidentsAt Alexander Court care home, in Sheffield, Residents have been marking a spooky Halloween as well as celebrating one Residents’ 90th birthday.

Colleagues and Residents gathered in the mysterious dining room to experience this year's spooky Halloween party.

The team organised a variety of games and activities, and Residents had great fun throwing hoops on the witches’ hats, pumpkin balls at the ghastly ghost cups and pin the spider on the web.

Everyone enjoyed tasting some ghoulish treats and the Residents also enjoyed Senior Carer Natalie's rendition of famous songs such as ‘I put a Spell on You’, ‘Thriller’ and ‘Ghostbusters’.

On 4th November, Zandra (pictured bottom right) celebrated her 90th birthday and received some gorgeous flowers, wine and best of all cake!

Zandra commented, “Thank you for my lovely flowers!”

Aisling O’Connor, Wellbeing Coordinator, said, “We have had another lovely week at Alexander Court, filled with celebration and fun!”
