Residents at
Winters Park, residential and residential memory care home, in Penrith have recently celebrated Halloween.
Residents and staff had a fancy-dress Halloween themed day making decorations for the home.
Halloween music and games were played all with a spooky theme, Residents really enjoyed the singalong. Everyone had a good chat whilst having a nice cup of tea and a little tipple of sherry.
The Residents enjoyed pumpkin carving as it reminded them of when they were younger. Seeing the staff in fancy dress really made the Residents laugh.
Residents really enjoyed the arts and crafts making some scary ghouls and ghost hanging decorations.
One Resident, commented, “We really loved today doing arts and crafts for Halloween and listening to music and having a sing song.”
Care Home Manager, Kate Lewis, added, “It was so nice seeing the Residents enjoying themselves and getting into the Halloween spirit.”
