Residential, residential dementia, nursing and nursing dementia care home, Bankhouse, got fully on board with celebrating National Beer Day today.
Everyone enjoyed various pub games and music, as well as a bit of silliness too with face mats to wear for a laugh. Residents John and Gavin posed wearing the face mats for a funny photo shoot. John said he'd had a laugh and the beer was good.
Senior Nurse in charge, Ashley and Home Manager Janet provided a refreshment service around the home with beers from around the world, pub snacks and treats.
Colleagues wore t-shirts with familiar beer logos to mark the day which sparked some great conversations among everyone.
Joan, who lives at Bankhouse, said, “This reminds me of hot summer days.”
Janet remarked, “It was nice to see the Residents laughing and joining in with the music questions.”
