Happy Halloween from Leeming GarthOn the 29th of October, Leeming Garth residential care home, in Northallerton, held a Halloween party for all the Residents.

Halloween was an exciting day for the Residents at Leeming Garth. Lots of activities took place, they included: carving pumpkins, smash the pumpkin pinata, and ‘dress the mummy’, staff and Residents worked together in teams to dress the best mummy.

Lots of treats were to be had, as well as a fantastic Halloween tea for everyone.

A highlight of the day for the Residents was Dave, a staff member dressing up as an inflatable pumpkin. Everyone had a good laugh. Both the staff and Residents had the best day.

Pam, a Resident commented, “It was really good fun. My favourite part was the pumpkin pinata. It was so lovely to see everyone having a good time together.

Another Resident added, “So nice to see everyone having a go at the games, especially the mummy game. It was nice to see the staff getting involved too!”

A Colleague, Elizabeth said, “It was so nice to see the Residents enjoying themselves and it was so well organised.”
