Residents at HC-One’s Acomb Court care home in Hexham dawned their chef whites for a day of baking cupcakes for afternoon tea.
Four Residents at Acomb Court wanted to channel their inner Mary Berry for the morning to prepare some delicious cupcakes to be served for their fellow Residents on the afternoon tea trolley.
Jean, Nancy, Edna and Joyce chatted as they prepared the cake mixture and whilst decorating the baked cupcakes, sharing their baking tips they have learned over the years. A great time was had by all, with their fellow Residents complimenting the ladies on their impressive baking skills.
One Resident commented: “Those cupcakes were delicious, thank you for going to the effort to make some homemade cakes for us all.”
