Hodge Hill Residents enjoy karaoke party on bonfire nightThis month at Hodge Hill Grange in Birmingham, which offers residential, nursing, and residential dementia care, Residents have had an explosive night.

To celebrate bonfire night this year Residents and Colleagues wanted to do something a little different. They held a karaoke party with a bonfire theme, so if anybody wanted, they could dress up. Everybody enjoyed a little sing and dance about in the living room. There was a photo station for Residents who wanted to take some silly pictures in front of a glittery backdrop.

The kitchen team kept up their usual high standards and provided everybody with traditional party food such as hotdogs, jacket potatoes, sandwiches, and cakes.

Nobody wanted the party to end so it went on for an extra hour afterwards, the Residents had a really good time. Margret, one of the Residents who attended the party said, “What a lovely evening, I don’t want it to end”.

Sarah, the Wellbeing Coordinator went on to say, “The party was a huge success, it was lovely seeing Colleagues having as much fun as the Residents!”
