Ice cream fun at Pytchley CourtResidents and Colleagues at HC-One’s Pytchley Court care home enjoyed a deliciously cooling treat after a Relative of the home arranged for an ice cream van to visit the home.

Everyone enjoyed the treat, with some opting for tubs of ice cream, and others opting for cones. They chose their toppings – flakes, sauces and sprinkles – and delighted at how much they reminded them of their childhoods.

An exciting afternoon was had by all!

Sue Watson, Home Manager, remarked: “What a lovely treat, we’ve really enjoyed listening to Residents’ memories of the ice creams they would have when they were younger.”
