Residents at HC-One’s Fleming Court care home in Jesmond, Newcastle-upon-Tyne were delighted to have a covid-19 safe visit from local nursery children.
It was a special day at Fleming Court as Residents welcomed children from a local nursery, who were all dressed as pirates for the day. The children waved and chatted to Residents from outside of the home’s grounds to ensure that all covid-19 infection precautions were adhered to.
The children had also drawn some pictures that they wanted to share with the Residents at Fleming Court, which brought a smile to the face everyone at the home. One Resident commented: “How sweet that they took time to come and see us, they even drew us some pictures.”
Fleming Court Home Manager, Jackie Lothian said: “It was lovely to see the children outside of the home, everyone enjoyed their visit and we are all looking forward to the day we can welcome them inside once again.”
Located on Burdon Terrace, Fleming Court care home offers short and long term care packages to older ladies and gentlemen in Newcastle that require residential care and residential memory care for those living with dementia.
