International Apple Day celebrations in Manchester care home

At Pendleton Court residential, nursing and residential memory care home, in Salford, Residents have been collecting apples for International Apple Day. 

Baskets were bought so that the Residents could collect apples from the tree in the home’s garden. Resident Anne Chester (pictured) really enjoyed picking them.

Anne commented, “I would like to make a crumble with the apples.” She also said they were better than golden delicious from the supermarket. 

Lesley, Wellbeing Coordinator, remarked, “I can’t believe how many apples we have this year!”
