For Greater Manchester’s
Yew Trees residential memory care home, everyone has been cheering on Team GB for the Tokyo 2020 Olympics and one very special Resident celebrated her birthday.
The home always makes a big fuss for someone’s birthday, and this was no exception for July’s birthday Resident (pictured).
Lynda Bulley, Wellbeing Coordinator, described the day, “Our lovely birthday girl, after having happy birthday sung to her, enjoyed photos, presents, cupcakes and candles and a very special video call from daughter in America.”
She commented, “It was nice to see my daughter and to get my presents. I love the bag which Yew Trees gave me!”
Also, this month marked the start of the Olympics and today there was flag and pom-pom waving while watching the games and Residents were served with plenty of juice and snacks to enjoy.
Lynda added, “Everyone enjoys relaxing and cheering Team GB on!”
