The care home hosted a vibrant street party lunch and a heartfelt reminiscence session to celebrate the joy and unity of VE Day. The festivities kicked off with a traditional street party lunch, where residents gathered surrounded by vibrant themed decorations.
Foley Grange colleagues, dressed in period-inspired outfits, added to the nostalgic atmosphere and served up classic dishes that evoked the era. Laughter and smiles filled the room as residents and colleagues united to honour the significance of VE Day.

In the afternoon, the mood turned reflective as residents embarked on a journey through time during a reminiscence session. Ration books, vintage recipes, and personal stories sparked lively conversations, with residents sharing their own memories of the past.
