Live stream Cinderella pantomime at Shropshire care homePriorslee House care home, in Telford, accepted the invitation of a free live stream to see a Cinderella production from the Musical Theatre Company.

Resident Dorothy was very keen to see this, and her daughter was invited along too.

The Pantomime was broadcast with an audience from The Hedworth Hall, in South Shields, and was streamed free of charge.

Colleague Sue said, “We managed to link the show in through the big screen on the ground floor lounge.  It was all set up via the YouTube app and it was exciting waiting for it to start as it showed a countdown.”

The performance started at 2.30pm and lasted for approximately two and a half hours.

The lights were kept low and during the 20-minute interval, ice-cream was gladly accepted, and a great time was had by all!

Everyone enjoyed being part of the experience and the ice- creams

Dorothy said, “I had a lovely time' and what a lovely singing voice from the fairy godmother!”

Anita Horton, Home Manager, commented, “It was the first interactive, streamed performance and we are really keen to do more now we have started.”

Sue said, “'It was really good, and I’m interested in other shows, possibly a streamed choir service for Christmas.”
