Children from the school local to Acacia care home, in Nottingham, surprised Residents by dropping of some Christmas goodies.
Pupils from Djanogly City Academy, which is a secondary school organised and collected for five boxes of Christmas hampers as a gift to Residents at the home. The pupils hope to come to the home and do some carol singing closer to Christmas.
One Resident remarked, “How lovely for showing so much kindness to us. We will look forward to seeing them.”
Home Manager, Georgina Jackson, said, “What a very heart-warming gesture from the year 10 children. We are so appreciative.”
