Residents and Colleagues at HC-One’s Chaseview care home in Romford enjoyed their Easter weekend, taking part in lots of activities and feasting on lots of chocolate treats.
During the morning of Thursday April 1st, the local Morrisons store delivered 80 hot cross buns, along with some cards made from the local Primary School, to the home for Residents and Colleagues to enjoy. The home has really strong relationships with the local area, that were especially important during the coronavirus and were over the moon to receive these lovely gits.
On Friday, Residents, along with the wellbeing team, organised an Easter Bonnet parade and small eggs were given out to the winners.
Then, Easter Sunday approached and Residents enjoyed opening their beautiful Easter eggs, cards and hot cross buns and immediately got stuck in.
A great Easter was had by all and there was not one Easter egg left in the home by the end of the weekend.
